Our take
These ProForm plates are exactly what I needed to fill the gaps in my adjustable dumbbell set. At 2.5 lbs each, they let me make small jumps in weight, which is great for progressive overload. The chrome and steel build seems durable, though they are not rubber-coated, so they can be noisy and might scratch floors if dropped. For the price, they're a handy addition, but I do wish they came with a locking mechanism for more secure attachment.
